Buying a car is usually something you take your time with. Unless there are only 50 Golf R Unlimited Editions, and the only way to get one is by being the fastest online. In that case, if you stop to think, you’ve already missed it.

Sports cars weren’t selling, but we still had to move 50 of the priciest Golfs ever — at 60k each, with almost no media budget. So we tapped into FOMO before it had a name and wenty days later, the 50 were gone. Sold out.

Back in 2018, buying a car online wasn’t really a thing. But from our social posts, users could jump to the site, see real-time availability, and pick their Golf R Unlimited — number and all. It rewarded the fastest.
